Ligatures are a common means of attempting suicide and self-harm due to their basic set-up using common household items and architecture. With our Anti-Ligature Training course, participants can better equip themselves with the skills and knowledge needed to minimise risk of ligatures in the care or support setting and respond to incidents involving ligatures.

To understand the nature and importance of debriefing following a ligature incident.
To effectively demonstrate the first aid procedures that are performed on a casualty who has used a ligature.
To identify anti-ligature tools and effectively demonstrate their use on mock ligatures.
