Supervision and Group Facilitation

For anybody working in a care or support setting, “supervision” is a word that everyone is familiar with. Our Supervision & Group Facilitation course is specially designed for anyone who fulfils a supervisory or managerial role in their workplace, giving them the skills and knowledge needed to better connect with their staff and keep the heart of the workforce beating.

  • To identify the responsibilities and challenges of a leadership role.

  • To improve engagement and communication with staff.

  • To understand how to conduct effective supervision that will produce positive change in the workplace.

  • To recognise what workplace conduct or behaviours require supervision, and what might happen when they remain unsupervised.

  • To raise confidence and ability in guiding group-based discussions and supervision settings.

  • To recognise the available tools and strategies that can assist in the day-to-day duties of a supervisor or manager.


6 hours teaching (7 Hour day to include breaks).
